Forms

During incorporation, a company shall adopt a memorandum only in the formats, as applicable on it depending on the type of company, as specified in Tables A, B, C, D and E in Schedule I of the Companies Act, 2013.

While applying for the registration of the company, the signed copy of the finalised version of the memorandum is filed with the Registrar of Companies. The subscribers to the memorandum sign the memorandum.

Amendment to Memorandum

The memorandum of association of a company can be altered only by following due process prescribed for it. Refer: Section 13 of the Companies Act, 2013.
