Since 10th of July, 2018, FBIL has been computing and publishing the Reference Rates (USD/INR, EURO/INR, GBP/INR and JPY/INR) on a daily basis.
The reference rates are published by 01.30 p.m. on its official website on all working days except Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays in Mumbai.
The following are the reference rates as on 31st March, 2020 as published by FBIL.
INR / 1 USD = 75.3859
INR / 1 GBP = 93.0760
INR / 1 EUR = 83.0496
INR / 100 JPY = 69.65

Note: The determination and publication of Reference Rates before 10th of July, 2018 were carried out by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). RBI vide its letter dated December 26, 2017 had advised that FBIL may take necessary steps to take over the computation and publication of Reference Rates. Later, RBI in its Statement on Developmental and Regulatory Policies dated February 07, 2018 announced that FBIL would assume the responsibility for computation and dissemination of the daily 'Reference Rate' for Spot USD/INR and other major currencies against the Rupee. Accordingly, FBIL started publishing the rates on 10th of July, 2018.
