What is SRN Service Request Number in MCA? Check Status

In order to comply with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and rules made thereunder and other relevant laws, companies are required to file certain electronic forms (eforms) to the Registrar of Companies (ROC), Regional Director (RD), Central Govt., etc through online platform made available at Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) site.

How to file forms at MCA?

Go to MCA website >> My Workspace >> Register your account >> Sign in

After signing in, you have to search for the company for whom you want to file forms and upload necessary eforms.

What is a Service Request Number?

After successfully uploading the forms and making payment of required fees, you will get an acknowledgement of the successful filing of the form i.e. a challan copy.

In the challan copy, you will find the SRN.

An SRN is a nine character alphanumeric string, which starts with a letter followed by 8 numerical numbers.

An SRN is a unique id which is allotted for each form filing.

Through this SRN, your can check the approval status of the transaction for which form is filed at MCA site.
