Section 34 Contract Labour (R&A) Act 1970: Power to remove difficulties

Section 34 (Power to remove difficulties) under Chapter VII (Miscellaneous) of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 —

❝If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as appears to it to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty.❞

Notes:

The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (No. 37 of 1970) was amended by:
- the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Amendment Act, 1986 (No. 14 of 1986) (w.e.f. 28-1-1986);
- the Delegated Legislation Provisions (Amendment) Act, 2004 (No. 04 of 2005) (w.e.f. 11-1-2005).
