Section 98 (Corporation may undertake duties in Part B. States) under the Chapter VIII (Miscellaneous) of the Employees’ State Insurance Act 1948

❝The Corporation may, at the request of the Government of an Indian State and with the previous permission of the Central Government and subject to such conditions as may be imposed by it, undertake to discharge in the Indian State any duty which may be specified in a State law corresponding to this Act.❞


Section 98 was OMITTED by the Employees’ State Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1951 (53 of 1951), s. 26.
