Section 156 of Patents Act 1970: Patent to bind Government

Section 156 (Patent to bind Government) under Chapter XXIII (Miscellaneous) of the Patents Act, 1970 ⦂―

❝Subject to the other provisions contained in this Act, a patent shall have to all intents the like effect as against Government as it has against any person.❞

- the Patents (Amendment) Act, 1999 (No. 17 of 1999);
- the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2002 (No. 38 of 2002);
- the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 (No. 15 of 2005).
