SRN : Service Request Number
What is a Service Request Number?
Every Companies is required to file electronic forms (eforms) to ROC, RD, Central Govt. etc through online platform at Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) site, in compliance with various company law provisions .
To make each filing identifiable separately, with a successful upload of the form and subsequent online payment, each filing transaction gets a separate Service Request Number (SRN). MCA generates a challan copy after successful payment, in which the SRN can be found.
Through this SRN, one can check the approval status of the transaction for which eform is filed at MCA site.
A SRN is a nine character alphanumeric string, which starts with a letter followed by 8 numerical numbers.
